The Royal Palace in Bangkok is a huge complex of buildings, temples, and gardens. It used to house the Thai monarchy and government.
There's a strict dress code which requires (among other things) covering of the knees so I had to buy my first pair of elephant pants before going inside.
It's hard to know where to look inside as there is so much to see. All of the buildings are so intricately detailed and there's lots of different styles as parts were built over a few centuries.
It's been very hot in Bangkok and the palace is a popular spot so it was hard work but definitely worth the trip.
